Festivaller, insana eğlenceli hoşça vakit geçirtirken
aynı zamanda bir ve beraber olmanın ve paylaşmanın
en güzelini de yaşatırlar. Her yıl ikimi, coğrafi
şartları, muhteşem kültürel ve mimari mirasıyla
kıskanılacak bir konumda olan güzel ülkemizde belki
binlerce festival yapılmakta. İşte biz de bu festival
deryasında bir ilki gerçekleştirmek üzere yola çıktık.
Aile kurumunun evrenselliği ve biricikliğini vurguladığımız
“AİLEM HERŞEYİM” sloganı ile yola çıktık ve bu sözü
çok sevdik. Aile anlayışımız sadece kan bağı ile
bağlı olduklarımızla sınırlı tutmadık. Aile kurumunun
gerekliliğine ve biricikliğine inanan “dünya kadar”
üyemizle paylaşabileceğimiz bir ortak paydanın ilk
adımını festivalimizle gerçekleştirelim istedik.
İlk olmanın getirdiği heyecanla birlikte, uzun soluklu
bir festival olmasının da şimdiden peşine düştüğümüz
bu yolda öncü olduğumuz için de daha temkinli daha
özenli olmak durumunda idik. Öncelikle şunu söylemliyim
ki, böyle bir festivalin olması gerektiğini anlatmak
inandırmak bile bir emeği ve süreci gerektirdi.
Önce kendimiz inandığımız için büyüklerimizi ve
dostlarımızı da inandırmak zor olmadı. Bu açıdan
da çok mutluyuz.Festivalin hazırlık aşamasından
gerçekleşme anına kadar yoğun yorucu ama bir o kadar
da zevkli geçen onlarca toplantı ve zorlu geçen
bir süreç sonunda nihayet özenle seçilen 30 a yakın
film, Minyatürk gibi dünya harikası bir mekan ve
üç kapalı salonda gösterim aşamasına geldik.
Sanatı, paylaşmayı, özveriyi, aşkı, bir olmayı,
beraberliği, içtenligi, şefkati, sevgiyi, fedakarlığı,dostluğu,
diğergamlığı, hizmeti, estetiği, pişmanlığı ve daha
niçe kavramı sinema ve aile paydasında buluşturmaya
çalıştık. “Aile”ye ve bize inanan, güvenen destekleyen
ve katkıda bulunan başta Kültür ve Turizm Bakanımız
Sayın Atilla KOÇ’a, Devlet Bakanımız Sayın Beşir
ATALAY’a, İBB Kültür Aş. Genel Müdürü Sayın Nevzat
BAYHAN’a ve emeği geçen herkese şükranlarımızla……

PRESENTATION
Festivals, while enabling people
to spend good time, at the same time they also enable
them the best of being one and together and sharing.
Each year, thousands of festivals are being organized
inour country, which is at a location that is envied
due to its climate, geographical conditions, magnificent
culture and architectural heritage. We also started
off in order to realize a first in this ocean of
festivals.
We started off with the slogan ‘’MY
FAMILY IS MY EVERYTHING’’ that underlines the universality
and uniqueness of the instution of family and we
loved this saying. We did not limit our understanding
of family only with those which we have blood bonds
with. With our festival, we wanted to realize the
first step of a common denominator whish we can
share with our ‘’A world of’’ members who believe
in the necessity and uniqueness of the institution
of family.
Accompanied by the excitement owing
to being a first, we had to be more deliberate and
more careful, since we were a Pioneer on this journey,
where we also looked for being a long_term festival.
First of all, ı should point out
that, even describing and convincing the necessity
for existence of such a festival, required an effort
and a process.Since we believed in this first, it
was not difficult to make our elders and friends
believe in this too. We are very happy regarding
this point of wiev.
We tried to bring together art, sharing,
sacrifice, love, solidarity, sincerity, tenderness,
affection, self-devotion, friendship, selflessness,
service, aesthetics, regret and many more concepts
under the denominator of cinema and family. We believed
it is more meaningful and important to unite and
bring people together rather than separating them.
Owing to this, our festival was also a meeting adres
at the same time.
As a result of tens of meetings,
which were dense, tiring but also fun and contestable,
and a challenging process from the preparation stage
of the festival until its realization, we are now
at the stage of meeting our people with our presantations
of about forty international long movies selected
carefully from twenty countries, at three indoor
halls at Miniaturk, which is a work of art locaton.
The geographical weigt in this years film selection
was on ‘East’ which is the source of light and civilization.
In the following years, with the light and warmth
which we receive from ‘family’, we will continue
our journey on different regions of the world.
On this journey which we started
off with an amateur soul and excitement, with our
gratitude for our T.C. Culture and Tourism Minister;
Mr. Atilla KOÇ, T.C. State Minister; Mr. Beşir ATALAY,
T.C.Women and Family Related Works Minister; Mrs.
Nimet ÇUBUKÇU, İstanbul Municipality Mayor; Mr.
Kadir TOPBAŞ and to nongovermental organizations
because of their vaulable supports and coorperations.
